For clippers

How to become a clipper.

5 min read · Updated July 2026

Clippers are the editors behind clipping campaigns. Brands fund a campaign, and clippers cut the source content into short-form clips. The best part of the modern model: with a managed network like Vision Clipping, you do not even need your own audience. You clip, the network handles the uploading and posting.

What you need

A laptop or a decent phone, a free editor like CapCut, and consistency. Nobody asks for a CV. Campaigns care about one thing: whether your clips hold attention.

Step 1: browse active campaigns

Campaigns are posted in the Vision Clipping Discord, each with its own source content and payout rules. Pick one whose content you actually enjoy watching, because you will be watching a lot of it.

Step 2: apply

Fill out a short form so the team can see if you are the right fit for that campaign. Selected clippers get access to the source material and the campaign brief.

Step 3: clip, submit, get paid

Cut the strongest moments, follow the brief, and submit your edits. Uploading and posting is managed for you, and payouts follow the campaign's rules. Top clippers are already earning thousands a month, and the skill compounds: every campaign teaches you what hooks actually hold viewers.

How to get good, fast

The free Vision Clipping Academy takes you from complete beginner to expert clipper: finding the moment, cutting for retention, and writing captions people do not scroll past. If you want to understand the business behind the campaigns you are clipping for, read what is a clipping campaign.
